WELCOME
Thank you for your interest in Summer in the City. Through our programs,
you can gain exposure to new places, new people, and new activities --
all while getting community service credit for doing it.

Since 2002, we have been connecting students, religious groups and
companies to volunteer opportunities in Detroit. Throughout the summer, we paint,
plant, demolish, and construct with neighborhood organizations all over the city.

INTERESTED?
Getting involved couldn't be easier. Come as little or as often as you
like during our nine-week summer work season. There's no need to sign up in advance:
simply show up at one of our carpool sites and join us for a fun, productive day.
We're sure you'll want to come back.
